Lollapuzzoola opened registration today for their online tournament Saturday, August 15. Normally held in New York City, Lollapuzzoola was my first crossword tournament (in 2017), and has a special place in my heart. It will be worth your time, and there is a “Next Day,” solve-at-home option, of course.
The Kickstarter for the second round of A-to-Z Crosswords has three days left and has not yet met its goal. If you didn’t subscribe to the first round, Peter Gordon and Frank Longo provide daily bite-size 9x11 puzzles that use every letter in the alphabet — a nice change of pace from 15x15 grids.

I will be adding 1Across to the cryptic lineup after solving two of their puzzles this week. They’re a step out from the links I’ve previously included (cryptic-only, international setters), but I really, really, enjoyed both solves. From a quick glance, most of their puzzles are themed, which is a big plus in my book.
